What is Embossing?

Embossing is a raised or sunken indentation in sheet metal without cutting the material.  This is commonly used to form one part to fit around another.  “A” series units with adjustable feed opening are recommended for easy removal of formed part.  When placing an order or requesting a quote, please send a drawing indicating the angle, overall height and material type and thickness as shown below.
